What Are Viruses?

The term viruses is typically used to refer to all malicious software like spyware and adware, however, this reference is not technically true. A more accurate term is malware which is any malicious software that is designed to infiltrate a computers system without the owners informed consent. A viruses true nature is to duplicate it self over and over and can be transferred through the internet, removable media like flash drives or over unsecured computer networks. Is your network secure? Viruses can come in many forms, most of which originate from the internet.

Much Needed Tune Up!

This customer brought in their desktop last week for a tune up. We removed the cover and found tons of dust, cobwebs & even a little spider or two. Luckily, she brought her computer to the right shop! We cleaned the hardware, completed the tune up and had the computer running like it was brand spankin’ new!

Nice Guys Finish Last

As a business owner, I some times feel like I fit into this category. The title should probably say “Honest Businesses Finish Last” but I think you get the point. It seems that those who play it straight and do business as ethically and fair as possible, finish last, while others rake in the cash. I am writing this article because this has been something that has troubled me for a while now. But, before I go on with my frustrations, let me first state this; I understand that in the end, businesses like my own will come out on top and most others will be gone with the wind, but until then, it will be a constant thorn in my side.
